Am wondering if that is a better choice to enhance the outcome and remove sunspots at the same time? Hi I am a 25 year old male, Asian skin suffering from acne. I have been on accutane once when I was 22. My cystic acne was cured but I had severely oily skin and mild acne afterwards. My Dermatologist put me on accutane again. This time on very low long term dose of 10mg per day for 1 year. I have had it for 8 months now and my acne is gone. However, I still have some very minor scarring and a few red spots on my cheeks. I was wondering if I could get a gentle microdermabrasion done since I am on such a low dose of accutane. If not, is there any other procedure to remove my red scarring that you would recommend. If so, please let me know and I will book in an appointment. Thanks

Im 38 yr old man ..is it ok for me to have dermal filler done..ive notice ive loss volume on my face...looking tired n dry..i have also acne marks ive tried fraxel laser before with 5 session but didint do any good to lessen d marks instead i got hyperpigmentation. Im t considering having renew volumising package done but i want to know whether it will be good..iand how long the procedure m now feared of going thru lasers again after what had happend...thanks much

Hi I have been taking isotretinoin pills for three months and my acne is cleared up already. My doctor suggested me to take the pills for at least 5 months. So my question is am I able to have treatment now on acne scarring or I should better wait after i stop my medicine? Also, just wondering what treatments you would suggest for scar healing after taking the pills as i read from your site that fractional CO2 Laser Treatments may not be suitable. Thanks.

I have been looking on your website and would like some advise on skin treatments. I am 25 years old and have problems with acne. I have mild acne scars, active pimples and also blackheads and want to do something to fix these problems. Most of the time, even makeup doesn't cover the problems and it is very embarrassing. I live about 700km north of Melbourne so ideally I am looking for a treatment that can be done in 1 appointment so I do not have to travel a great distance often. Dear Vic Cosmetic Institute, I am contemplating getting several sessions of the Medlite laser treatment to help reduce the acne scarring that i have on my cheeks. The scars are pretty old (approx 10 yrs). I am prone to keloid scarring, and have keloid scars on both jaw lines as a result of severe chicken pox in my early 20s. I do get corticosteroid injections for the keloid scars probably once every 3-6 months to maintain them. Any suggestions and recommendations on the best treatments available on how to: 1) reduce the acne scarring 2) help maintain the keloids would be much appreciated. thank you.
