Gently purifies and cleanses while balancing skin pH and lipid levels to allow uptake of active ingredients. The vital fourth step of the Rationale Essential Six. Enriched with ultra gentle cleansing agents and soothing botanicals. Simultaneously cleanses and hydrates. Purifies and protects vital skin lipids. Niacinamide and Panthenol restore skin barrier function. Vitamins A, C & E reduce inflammation. Licorice Root and Chamomile extracts cleanse and calm. 

* Wet face with tepid water.
* Lather a small amount of Preparatory Cleanser between hands and massage gently over face and neck.
* Rinse thoroughly. Pat dry.
* Use nightly.
* Can also be used to cleanse the complexion in the morning if desired.","* Antioxidant vitamin and botanical rich formula balances skin pH and supplements vital skin lipids.
