This patient has had her platysmal bands injected with anti-wrinkle injections. Each band had 10 to 15 units injected.

The post photo shows a marked reduction in the appearance of platysmal bands even at full contraction. The patient experienced a mild elevation in her facial skin, due to the decreased pull from these muscles.

Case study 6

25 units of anti-wrinkle injections were placed in each masseter muscle. The masseter muscle is the muscle at the angle of the jawline (just below the ears) which helps us to chew. By placing anti-wrinkle injections in this muscle, the jawline is slimmed. It also helps with problems such as a teeth grinding and headaches that result from this.
