Hi, I underwent chinplasty with silicone implant about a month ago in thailand as I was after a more square shaped chin. Although there is slight improvement, the shape remained the same.
I was wondering if I could have dermal fillers on the left and right corners of my chin to create a squarer shape?
Yes, it is possible to put dermal fillers around the implant to create a more square look. We have done this quite commonly in our clinic when people have not been 100% satisfied with their implant, and need some adjustment. It can last around 1 to 1.5 years, but a permanent solution will require another operation to replace the implant with a larger one.
