I was told I would need to have a face lift for my double chin and fatty wrinkles in my neck. Do you have more up to date treatments without much down-time
Liposuction is much less invasive than a face lift and can help reduce any fat under the chin. If the neck has loose skin, then a neck lift may be required. In many cases, liposuction can address neck fat without any further intervention, and a good degree of skin retraction is achieved.
The wrinkles in the neck are harder to treat. Sometimes, horizontal neck lines can be filled with a dermal filler, but the results are variable – often lumps occur. If the neck has more generalised wrinkles, then a laser procedure such as a fractional carbon dioxide laser resurfacing can be performed.
