Im a type 1 diabetic. i have a little extra wieght that i want to get rid of. i go to the gym 4 days a week or when i can but dont seem to be looseing any weight. i have reduced my diet down as much as i can do so safely. im a truckie and do long hrs. being a diabetic am i ok to get lipo done.
Liposuction would not be an appropriate procedure for you simply to lose weight. Being a type I diabetic does also increase the risk of liposuction, as we will need to control your blood glucose levels within the operation also. It is probably best that you see diabetes specialist to find help to see if you can control your weight and blood glucose levels to more optimal levels through optimising your insulin dose and diet?
