Do the veins reappear after laser treatment? How long is the laser effective?
Facial capillaries or veins can reappear after treatment, as the underlying problem, rosacea, cannot be cured. Laser does however induce a long-lived reduction in the appearance of facial vessels, and facial redness.
In most cases, we recommend an initial series of 3 treatments spaced a month apart, and then maintenance sessions as required. The Gemini laser and the Pulsed dye laser are vascular lasers that are used in this situation.
