Hello, i am making an enquiry for my girlfriend. she is currently overseas and will be for a while, she has acne problems which have surfaced recently, just on 1 area of her face. a doctor she has seen said it was hormonal acne. i would just like to know what products you could recommend as a consultation is out of the question.
Although a consultation is required to properly ascertain the underlying cause of the acne, as well as to possibly prescribe some medications, I can give you an idea of what sort of skin care might be used. Please keep in mind that acne , if not properly treated, can lead to scarring, and there also may be an underlying cause (such as polycystic ovarian syndrome) that may be causing the acne.
The Rationale night kit has a lot of important active products that can help with acne, including retinaldehyde and AHA/BHA.
It is also important to not use moisturisers as they may clog the skin.
Finally, mineral make-up is important, and this can help immensely as it doesn’t clog the skin like normal make-up.
