Question:

Hi,
I was just wondering how many peels approximately would an acne prone skin need? Trying to figure out whether to just go for individual peels or a package.
Thanks

Answer:

Chemical peels are one part of the treatment of acne. They help via exfoliation of the skin, and improved turnover. This helps to reduce the blockage of pores and accumulation of dead skin. Exactly how many you need will vary from person to person, but we generally recommend them at intervals of about one month. Other things that may be necessary to improve acne include; topical skin care, and medications (oral) – both of which will be prescribed on an individual basis by your doctor.
