How you guys resurfacing the scars of four years old?
It really depends on what
Scars can be treated with either a fraxel laser, or with skin needling.
The Fraxel Laser using a 1550nm wavelength is quite a deep penetrating laser wavelength and
can penetrate up to 1.4mm into the skin, which makes it the ideal for
the treatment of deeper problems such as acne scarring or other types of
skin scarring. The laser wavelength induces controlled zones or columns
of coagulated tissue in the dermis which are repaired and remodeled. This process helps to reorganize and regenerate collagen to help to lift indented scars such
as those from acne, or to smooth and flatten traumatic or surgical
times to cause thousands of micro-injuries. This induces the skin to begin a process of wound healing
that is followed by the production of new collagen. The production of
new collagen continues for up to 12 months after the procedure.
Depressed acne scars, wrinkles, skin texture and tightness are all
improved as a result. After skin needling, it is possible to add topical retenoids or other medical grade skin care to the skin to further enhance the
effects of skin needling and collagen production.
