I am a 14yrs old female with dark brown skin.I have lot of hair on my legs and arms and lot of fine facial hair till my neck.I haven’t touched my facial hair yet but I do regularly remove hair by using Veet cream on arms and leg.
Can you please advise me how to get rid of these permanently.Considering my age and Asian skin(Indian) would you advise me the right treatment ASAP
Usually we don’t treat those under 18 years of age without serious consideration prior, as well as parental consent. Laser hair removal can be uncomfortable as well as have side effects such as pigmentation changes in the skin. For darker or asian skin types we most commonly use an Nd:YAG laser which is less attracted to the melanin (pigment) in skin, which is present in higher levels in asian skin. This allows for safer laser hair removal in this skin type.
