Question:
I get 2 distinct lines/ wrinkles directly under my eyes when I smile, nobody I know has these. In fact I’ve had them since I was young, I’m 26 now and they are getting more obvious. Is this an area that can be treated with dermal fillers or anti wrinkle injections?

Answer:
Lines/wrinkles can generally be corrected with dermal filler to help replace the volume loss causing the line, and smooth the transition from one area to the next.
However, treatment with dermal fillers in this area may not be possible, and this will depend on how close the line is to your eye area.
Anti wrinkle injections may also be an option to consider for someone with wrinkles near the eye area to help cease any creasing during movement/expression, which over time could possibly soften the line due to lack of movement.
