I had falled on the side of my face and had a pretty big scab.. Im worried its going to stay like this for a long time, It looks like its improving but almost been 2 months now and not gone.. i work outside and not sure what to do? Dont want it to be permament
You will need to be sure your protect it from the sun. The more sunlight it gets, the darker it will become and the harder it will be to treat.
Sunscreen with zinc oxide such as Synergie Uberzinc will physically reflect the sun and prevent further pigmentation. Be sure to re-apply throughout the day for maximum effect, and wear at hat as much as possible.
A lightening formula such as Kligmans may help to lighten the excisting pigment. Kligmans is doctor prescribed and can be purchased in clinic on day of consultation.
