Question:
I have had 2 children and gained a lot of weight during pregnancy which caused stretch marks on my stomach. I have got back to a healthy weight and I am trying to find out the best way of getting rid of them. Please let me know if there is something that can get rid of my stretch marks.
Answer:
Stretch marks are a bit like scars in that they tend to improve with time, and also there are treatments to improve them but not get rid of them completely. We can use a laser called the Fraxel laser to help re-organise the collagen within the stretch mark, and this can give you a mild improvement.
