I have some moles or freckles and I wanted to know if Melanotan 2 can be used after treatment.
Moles or freckles I’m not sure what they are. They are black but flat. Not very deep either.
Melanotan is not approved for use in Australia. It can darken freckles and moles on the face/body.
Also, we don’t tend to treat moles with laser, due to the potential , although small risk, of malignant transformation. Freckles can be treated with lasers like our Ruby or Medlite lasers.
We can’t advise you of the effect of melanotan after freckle/mole removal, but theoretically, it may increase their chance of recurrence?
