My jawline wrinkles are very deep, as a 51 year old woman will I see results like everyone else? Also does the injections make my face numb?
Anti-wrinkle injections will not make the face numb. Instead they help to relax muscles that are causing wrinkles, for example around the eyes, between the brows, and in the forehead.
Jawline wrinkles are generally not treated with anti-wrinkle injections, but may be treated with dermal fillers and laser resurfacing.
Dermal fillers aim to ‘fill’ folds, wrinkles, or shriveling of an area, by replacing the volume in the skin, and can last between 4 months to 2 years.
Laser resurfacing can be done with a laser such as the carbon dioxide laser to help to smooth out fine surface wrinkles and also help to tighten the skin also.
