I have had permanent filler in my lips 10 years ago, can I have a temporary filler put in on top of this?
It is possible to put in a temporary filler over the top of a permanent filler, but there is a higher risk of infection associated with the procedure. In our experience, about half of the patients we have treated in this situation have had an infection, that required drainage of pus and antibiotics, but no residual effect in the end.
