Question:

What kind of laser do you use for eyeliner tattoo removal (permanent make up)? Does the eyelashes fall out after the treatment?
Thank you

Answer:

Generally for tattoo removal, we use a Medlite Nd:YAG 1064nm Laser. This laser has a photo-mechanical effect on tattoo inks, literally shattering these into small particles. The
remnants are then removed by the body’s immune system.

It usually takes up to 5-10  sessions to completely remove this type of tattoo. It is safe to use on
eyeliner tattooing with the protection of metal eye shields. Treatment with this laser will not make
your eyelashes fall out permanently, but they may change colour to white for a day. This doesn’t always happen however.
