Dr. Gavin Chan discusses the new Anteis Injecting System and the advantages of using it in the application of dermal fillers. Dr. Gavin Chan of the Victorian Cosmetic Institute demonstrates the superiority of the Anteis Injecting System for Dermal Fillers. The "old school" method as he calls it employs a traditional syringe which the cosmetic surgeon must inject in and out of the patient's skin while slowing injecting the filler which will reduce facial wrinkling. Obviously, the skill of the surgeon is in both their ability to navigate the syringe needle and inject the filler by pressing on the plunger. With the Anteis Injecting System, the syringe is motorized and automates the injection of the dermal filler. This automated approach removes the stress of controlling the release of the dermal filler allowing the surgeon to concentrate on where the filler will be injected. The motorized release of filler allows for better cosmetic results because the filler is released evenly. Also, the fact the surgeon is focused on the placement of the syringe needle reduces the pain associated with having to move the needle in and out of the skin. Dr. Gavin Chan performs a dermal filler treatment on a patient to decrease the skeletonisation of the upper brow. This softens the appearance of the bony prominences just above the eye and creates a more youthful appearance. Often excess skin is removed from the upper lid, but this can leave a hollow and sometimes a more aged appearance. Revolumising the upper lids is sometimes a good alternative to rejuvenating the upper lid.

Dr. Gavin Chan discusses the various uses of the Erbium laser, including its use in the removal of skin lumps and bumps and laser resurfacing. Dr. Gavin Chan, a cosmetic physician from The Victorian Cosmetic Institute, discusses the treatments that are performed including the removal of layers of skin and laser skin resurfacing. One original purpose of laser skin resurfacing was to take skin off a person's face in order to remove wrinkles, pigmentation and sun damage. The benefits of the Erbium Laser treatment include the removal of lesions from someone's skin as well as the removal of lumps and bumps from his/her skin. The Erbium Laser has replaced a carbon dioxide laser. Some of the side effects that the carbon dioxide laser treatment caused included scarring of skin tissues and a white appearance of the skin. The treatment that is featured in this video was performed by skin being shaved down. A man is shown having lesions of skin removed from his head with a Erbium Laser.
