Lumps and bumps left over from liposuction are generally fat remaining in the skin, and can be corrected by a second liposuction treatment to get rid of the remaining fat deposits.
The thinner the fat layer remaining, the harder it is to correct the problem. Also, if the lumps and bumps are due to skin laxity, then a surgical excision of skin may be required as well or instead of liposuction.
