Question:
I want to know if you can have MDA if you have broken cappilaries. I don’t have many, they are quite small and they are on my cheeks. I was wondering if they would interrupt it. Your answer would be highly appreciated so I can then book in for a consultation.
Answer:
It is possible for microdermabrasion or MDA to worsen broken capillaries, as there is some suction on the skin. If you are prone to this, I would advise you avoid it and choose an alternative like a light chemical peel that won’t cause the same problem. To treat broken capillaries, we have a few vascular lasers, that can help to shut these vessels down.
